Tangy beer batter for fish or shrimp

  This is a recipe for beer batter that one of my best friends and myself have perfected over the years. We have cooked every kind of seafood or water animal you can fry using this one. You can just buy your favorite flour batter and add the dill weed if you want but I have found the difference comes from using a beer that you prefer which will add lots of flavor to the mix.

Beer Brownies made with Guinness Stout!

I found this recipe online and will be trying it over the Christmas Holidays. The description says the original version of these brownies was developed in Ireland. The malt in the Guinness stout beer intensifies the flavor of the chocolate in these delicious brownies. The texture is an interesting combination of fudge, mousse, candy, and traditional brownies. They sound damn good, if you try them before I do let me know how they were. I have made Christmas treats with rum and other spirits but never beer. I guess there is a first time for everything.
